GPD 1815875 Disc Brake Pad Wear Sensor

The GPD 1815875 is a direct-fit disc brake pad wear sensor from Global Parts Distributors (GPD), designed to monitor brake pad lining thickness and alert the driver when pads have worn to the service replacement threshold. When the brake pad material reaches a critically low level, the sensor triggers a warning indicator on the vehicle's dashboard, prompting timely brake pad replacement before rotor damage or brake failure can occur.

Key Features:

• Direct-fit replacement — engineered to match the original sensor's connector, bracket, and mounting geometry for hassle-free installation
• Electronic wear detection — functions as a resistor circuit that signals the vehicle's control module when pad wear reaches a critical level
• Dashboard warning activation — illuminates the brake pad warning light to alert the driver before pads contact the rotor surface
• Replaces worn or damaged sensors — wear sensors should always be replaced alongside new brake pads, as they are consumed during normal brake operation
• Quality construction — built to OE specifications for reliable fit, form, and function

The GPD 1815875 brake pad wear sensor is a straightforward, cost-effective solution for restoring proper brake system monitoring. Always replace the wear sensor when installing new brake pads to ensure the warning system functions correctly for the full life of the new pads.
