GPD 1815873 Disc Brake Pad Wear Sensor

The GPD 1815873 is a direct-fit disc brake pad wear sensor designed to monitor brake pad lining thickness and alert the driver when pads have worn to the replacement threshold. This electronic sensor integrates with the vehicle's warning system to trigger a dashboard indicator light, helping prevent brake system damage caused by running pads beyond safe limits.

Key Features:

• Direct-fit design — engineered for precise, hassle-free installation with no modifications required
• Electronic wear detection — connects to the vehicle's computer module to activate a dashboard warning light when pads reach minimum safe thickness
• Spring-clip retention — securely mounts to the brake pad and maintains consistent contact with the rotor surface
• OE-style replacement — restores proper brake pad monitoring function to factory specification
• Quality construction — built to withstand the heat and friction demands of the braking environment

Brake pad wear sensors should be replaced every time the brake pads are serviced. Installing a fresh sensor alongside new brake pads ensures your brake wear warning system continues to function accurately and keeps your braking system operating safely.
