GPD 1815835 Disc Brake Pad Wear Sensor

The GPD 1815835 is a direct-fit disc brake pad wear sensor designed to monitor brake pad thickness and alert the driver when pads have worn to the replacement threshold. As part of GPD's (Global Parts Distributors) brake wear sensor line, this sensor integrates with the vehicle's onboard diagnostic system to trigger a dashboard warning light before brake pads reach a critically low level.

Key Features:

• Direct-fit replacement — engineered for precise OE-style installation with no modification required
• Electronic wear detection — functions as a resistor circuit that signals the vehicle's control module when pad material is depleted
• Dashboard warning activation — illuminates the brake wear indicator light to prompt timely pad replacement
• Durable construction — built to withstand heat, moisture, and road debris typical of brake system environments
• OE-style connector — matches the original wiring harness plug for a secure, reliable connection

Replacing the brake pad wear sensor at every brake pad service interval is essential for maintaining accurate wear monitoring. The GPD 1815835 brake wear sensor restores proper system function and helps prevent undetected brake pad wear that could compromise stopping performance.
