Why Replace A/C O-Rings and Gaskets?

Every connection in a vehicle's air conditioning system relies on O-rings and gaskets to maintain a pressure-tight seal. Over time, heat cycles and chemical exposure cause these seals to harden and crack, leading to refrigerant leaks, oil loss, and reduced cooling performance. Replacing the O-rings and gaskets any time the A/C system is opened for service is considered best practice to ensure a reliable, long-lasting repair.
