AMP Research 19-04731-90 PowerStep Smart Series Door Status Module Black

The AMP Research 19-04731-90 is a replacement Door Status Module (DSM) designed specifically for the AMP Research PowerStep Smart Series automated running board system. This black module serves as the electronic brain that monitors your vehicle's door signals and commands the PowerStep running boards to deploy and retract at the right time.

When a vehicle door is opened, the Door Status Module detects the trigger signal and sends the command to extend the PowerStep running boards, providing a safe and convenient stepping surface. Once all doors are closed, the module initiates a short programmed delay before retracting the steps, tucking them neatly under the vehicle to maintain ground clearance while driving.

Key Features:

• Direct replacement Door Status Module for AMP Research PowerStep Smart Series running boards
• Black finish integrates cleanly into the vehicle's undercarriage wiring system
• Monitors door open/close status to automatically deploy and retract running board steps
• Compatible with the AMP Research Smart Series app-controlled running board ecosystem
• Vehicle-specific design ensures proper signal interpretation and timing
• Plug-and-play integration with the PowerStep Smart Series wiring harness

This module is a vehicle-specific component — proper fitment depends on both the vehicle make/model/year and the specific PowerStep Smart Series installation. It is recommended to match the replacement module to your original part number to ensure full compatibility with your system's door trigger logic and app connectivity.
