Product Details

The ACDelco 86511718 vapor canister is part of the evaporative emission control (EVAP) system. It captures and stores fuel vapors from the fuel tank. The engine can then draw those vapors in and burn them, instead of letting them escape into the atmosphere.

Key Points:

  • Part type: vapor canister for evaporative emission control, also called an EVAP canister or fuel vapor canister
  • Function: stores fuel vapors from the tank so they can be burned in the engine
  • Supports the vehicle's emission control system

A failed or damaged canister can cause EVAP system faults, so replacing a damaged one helps keep the emission system working as designed.

Fast delivery

Delivery was incredibly quick; it goes out the door very fast, which I appreciated when needing something for my boat.

Finding the part was super easy and simple. The only issue I really had was the delay in the shipping. I paid extra for faster shipping and it still took over a week to get to me. When I tried contacting them through the chat I never got any feedback after asking questions just a "let me check that for you" then chat ended. I finally decided to email and then I got a reply basically saying the same thing. Correct part did wind up showing up without tracking update(kept showing sent to warehouse).

A good experience overall, I loved service and prices

So far EXCEPTIONAL!!! I know the helmet will be as well.
