TBC ARC89 Arctic Claw WXI 235/55R17 103T XL Winter Tire

The TBC Arctic Claw WXI is a studdable winter tire engineered to deliver exceptional performance in harsh winter conditions. Meeting the industry's severe snow service requirements and carrying the Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake symbol, this tire is designed for coupes, sedans, crossovers, SUVs, and light-duty pickup trucks that face snow, ice, and slush.

Key Features:

• Advanced Winter Traction: Aggressive tread pattern with high-density siping provides increased biting edges for improved braking and cornering on icy roads
• Silica-Enhanced Compound: Winter compound keeps the rubber flexibility in freezing winter weather conditions for superior cold-weather performance
• Studdable Design: Designed to accept optional metal studs for additional grip and support in freezing rain, sleet and wet ice
• Hydroplaning Resistance: Circumferential grooves disperse water and slush from the footprint, avoiding hydroplaning and promoting a safer driving experience
• Enhanced Control: Asymmetric tread design with flat footprint maintains continuous road contact for responsive steering and stable handling
• Comfortable Performance: Special silica compound absorbs the shock of driving, lowering vibrations felt by passengers

The Arctic Claw WXI features an XL (Extra Load) construction rated at 103T, supporting up to 1929 pounds per tire at speeds up to 118 mph. This tire is the successor to the Arctic Claw Winter TXI and XSI models, offering improved snow and ice traction through wide tread grooves and multiple sipes. Note: Like all winter tires, the Arctic Claw WXI should not be used when temperatures are consistently above 45 degrees Fahrenheit.
