TBC ARC16 Arctic Claw Winter WXI Studable Winter Tire 225/45R18 91T SL

The TBC Arctic Claw Winter WXI is a studable winter tire engineered to deliver exceptional traction and control in harsh winter conditions. Combining a durable winter compound with a detailed asymmetric tread design, this tire provides reliable grip on snow, ice, and slush-covered roads.

Key Features:

• Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake (3PMSF) Certified: Meets required performance criteria for use in severe snow conditions
• Studable Design: Pre-drilled for studs which can be added for additional ice and snow grip where permitted by local regulations
• High-Density Siping: Zigzag siping pattern increases the number of biting edges gripping the road surface for enhanced traction
• Optimized Winter Compound: Maintains ideal rubber flexibility in freezing temperatures to ensure consistent performance
• Enhanced Braking: High-density siping creates friction between tire and road to significantly shorten braking distance, even on icy surfaces
• Comfortable Ride: Flat footprint absorbs the shock of driving to reduce road vibrations

The asymmetric tread design with its flat footprint maintains continuous road contact for improved steering responsiveness and driving stability. This tire features an 11/32" tread depth for extended winter performance. Ideal for drivers seeking reliable winter traction with the option to add studs for extreme ice conditions.

Important Note: Like all dedicated winter tires, this tire should not be used when temperatures are consistently above 45°F to maximize tread life and performance.
