Dunlop 45247185 Sportmax Q5 Rear Motorcycle Tire 180/55ZR17

The Dunlop Sportmax Q5 is a purpose-built, track-day tire that delivers professional-level performance while remaining DOT-approved for street-legal use. Designed to accommodate track-day-level riding like no other Dunlop DOT street tire before it, the Q5 offers even greater overall performance and grip than its predecessor, the Q4.

Advanced Racing Technology:

• Made in Dunlop's Buffalo, New York plant on the same proprietary equipment as Dunlop racing products
• Both front and rear tires utilize Dunlop's proprietary Racing Type Fine Carbon Technology in the tread compound
• Jointless tread construction optimizes stability, flex, and grip across the tire's tread profile
• Intuitive Response Profile (IRP) technology allows greater latitude in line choice while cornering with amazingly linear steering

Performance Features:

• Sharply defined tread pattern with lower groove density puts more rubber on the ground at all lean angles
• New taller profile with improved corner entry and high-speed stability at full lean
• Increased footprint at more extreme lean angles provides more tire on the road for enhanced grip
• Performs better in wet conditions, warms up quicker, and does not require tire warmers
• Engineered to run on the track at close to street pressures

This rear tire features a blackwall design with radial construction and is tubeless (TL). With a 73W load and speed rating, it supports a maximum load of 805 pounds and speeds up to 168+ mph.
