Product Details

The GPD 1712949 is a direct-fit blower motor resistor designed to restore proper heater and air conditioning fan speed operation. As a critical component of the HVAC system, the blower motor resistor regulates the electrical current sent to the blower motor, allowing the fan to operate across multiple speed settings. When this part fails, the blower fan may only work on certain speeds — or not at all.

Key Features:

  • Direct OE-style replacement for a precise, hassle-free fit
  • Restores full multi-speed blower fan operation
  • Manufactured to meet or exceed original equipment specifications
  • Built with quality resistor wire and thermal protection for durability
  • Helps resolve issues such as fan only working on high speed or no airflow from vents

GPD (Global Parts Distributors) specializes in aftermarket HVAC components and is a trusted supplier of climate control parts for the automotive market. The GPD 1712949 blower motor resistor is an economical, reliable solution to get your vehicle's heating and cooling system back to full function.

Easy ordering experience. I used PayPal and made it secure and seamless. The packaging was superb. The widget used to define the fitment was perfect - I have a '93 British SUV and its not always easy finding exact parts and the fact that it was a Bosch made it better.

Found the exact tire I was looking for; Goodyear Kevlar Wrangler 33x12.5 R15. No one else had it. I called the 1-800 number for several technical questions. At the menu I clicked 1 and a technical representative immediately picked up and answered all my questions. Very knowledgeable. Great service.
