ACDelco 24287098 Automatic Transmission Input Speed Sensor

The ACDelco 24287098 is a GM Genuine Parts Automatic Transmission Input Speed Sensor designed to monitor and report critical transmission data to your vehicle's powertrain control module. This sensor measures the rotational speed of the transmission input shaft, providing essential information that the vehicle's computer uses to determine proper shift points, gear ratios, and overall transmission performance.

Key Features:

• GM Genuine Parts quality - true OE parts installed during production or validated by General Motors
• Designed, engineered, and tested to rigorous GM standards
• Direct replacement for worn or failed transmission speed sensors
• Restores accurate speed data for proper transmission shifting and performance
• Supports speedometer, cruise control, and other speed-dependent vehicle systems
• Manufactured to provide the same performance, durability, and service life as original equipment

The transmission input speed sensor plays a critical role in automatic transmission operation by working with the output speed sensor to calculate gear ratios and vehicle speed. When this sensor fails or becomes weak, you may experience harsh shifting, improper gear engagement, illuminated check engine or service transmission lights, or malfunctioning cruise control. This GM Genuine Parts sensor ensures proper transmission function and optimal vehicle performance.
