Wells 6P1160 Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) Valve

The Wells 6P1160 is a direct-fit replacement Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) Valve engineered to restore proper crankcase ventilation function. A PCV valve is a one-way valve that routes gases produced by the engine's crankcase back into the engine's combustion chamber, helping reduce harmful emissions and protecting internal engine components.

Wells PCV Valves are designed to meet or exceed OE specifications for fit, form, and function. Wells offers high-technology manufacturing along with innovative solutions and improvements to OE designs, and every component either matches or improves on the OE design to ensure fast, easy installation, superior performance, and reliability.

Key Features:

• Direct OE replacement — meets or exceeds original equipment specifications
• One-way valve design prevents crankcase pressure from returning to the intake
• Maintenance item recommended for replacement as often as every 30,000 miles
• Helps prevent rough idle, oil seal failures, and excessive emissions
• Manufactured by Wells Vehicle Electronics, a trusted name in automotive emission control components

Overextending the PCV valve's service life promotes sludge formation, which clogs the engine's interior surfaces and can lead to condensation that causes engine wear. Replacing the PCV valve at regular intervals is a simple, cost-effective way to protect engine longevity and maintain clean, efficient combustion.
