Sensus 496-20-1/2 Gas Pressure Regulator with Internal Relief Valve 1/2" NPT

The Sensus 496-20-1/2 is a 1/2" NPT gas pressure regulator with internal relief valve (IRV) designed for natural gas and LP (propane) gas applications. This domestic service regulator can be used on residential, small commercial and industrial applications including burners, furnaces, ovens, heaters, and gas engines.

• 1/2" NPT cast iron body
• 1/4" orifice size
• Green spring with outlet range of 6-14" WC (water column)
• Cast iron valve body rated up to 125 psig working pressure
• 1" NPT vent connection
• Positive dead-end lockup design

Performance Features:

• 4" roll-out diaphragm provides exceptional performance and capacities that normally require 6" diaphragm regulators
• Internal Relief Valve set to relieve at approximately 7-10" w.c. above normal outlet pressure setting
• Corrosion protected cases with dip primed chromate conversion coating and enamel topcoat
• Interchangeable orifices and loading springs available
