Kodiak Controls PT50NOR Pete's Plug Pressure Temperature Test Port - 1/2

The Kodiak Controls PT50NOR is a 1/2" NPT pressure and temperature test plug designed for permanent installation in hydronic systems. This test port features a brass body with a nordel (EPDM) core, making it ideal for hot and chilled water systems, heat exchangers, pumps, and differential pressure readings.

Key Features:

• 1/2" male NPT pipe thread connection
• Brass body construction for durability and corrosion resistance
• Nordel (EPDM) synthetic rubber core for hydronic applications
• Two self-closing internal valves for leak-free operation
• Protective cap with retaining strap (yellow strap indicates Nordel core)
• Rated for up to 1,000 PSI and 275°F maximum operating conditions
• Maximum working pressure of 1,500 PSI at temperatures from 140°F to -20°F

This test plug eliminates the need for gauge cocks and thermometer wells, allowing technicians to quickly take pressure and temperature readings without leaving costly gauges or indicators on the line. The nordel core provides excellent service in hot and cold water systems and is resistant to detergents, phosphate esters, ketones, alcohols, and glycols. Note: Nordel is not suitable for petroleum products or natural gas applications.
