Reznor 40965 LP Pilot Orifice for Gas Unit Heaters

The Reznor 40965 is a genuine OEM pilot orifice designed specifically for propane (LP) gas applications in Reznor unit heaters. This precision-machined component controls the gas flow to the pilot assembly, ensuring proper flame characteristics for reliable ignition and safe operation.

Key Features:

• Genuine Reznor OEM replacement part
• Engineered specifically for LP/propane gas fuel
• Precision orifice ensures proper pilot flame size and intensity
• Critical component for safe and reliable pilot light operation
• Direct replacement for worn or damaged pilot orifices

The pilot orifice is a critical component in gas heating systems, metering the precise amount of fuel needed to maintain a stable pilot flame. A properly functioning orifice produces a strong blue flame that adequately heats the thermocouple or flame sensor. When pilot orifices become clogged with debris or wear over time, they can cause weak yellow flames, split flames, or pilot outages that prevent the heater from operating reliably.

This LP gas orifice is calibrated for use with propane fuel systems. Always verify your fuel type and model compatibility before installation, as natural gas and LP gas orifices are not interchangeable.
