Johnson Controls VG7000-1009 Pneumatic Actuator Spring Kit for and Valves - 1-1/2 2 Inch

The Johnson Controls VG7000-1009 is a pneumatic actuator spring kit designed for use with V-3000 series actuators on 1-1/2 inch and 2 inch VG7000 series threaded stem valves. This mounting kit is engineered to provide precise pneumatic control in HVAC applications involving steam, hot water, and cold water systems.

Key Features:

• Spring pressure range: 9-13 PSIG for reliable actuation
• 3/4 inch stroke length for effective valve control
• Compatible with DN40 and DN50 valve sizes
• Includes upper spring seat, spring, and stem extension set screw
• Spring return up action for fail-safe operation
• Designed for use with V-3000-8012 or V-3000-8003 pneumatic actuators

This spring kit is essential for field installation or replacement of pneumatic actuator components on VG7000 series globe valves. The 9-13 PSI spring range provides optimal force for controlling larger valve sizes while maintaining accurate modulation. When used with an optional V-9502 pilot positioner, this kit enables enhanced control stability and valve sequencing capabilities in complex HVAC systems.
