Auto Transmiss Parts 102132 Engine Harmonic Balancer

The Auto Transmiss Parts 102132 is an OE replacement engine harmonic balancer designed to absorb and dampen crankshaft vibrations during engine operation. This critical engine component helps prevent excessive wear and damage to other engine parts caused by harmonic vibrations at high engine speeds.

Key Features:

• Engineered to meet original equipment specifications
• Precision-machined from high-grade steel for zero runout
• Dynamically balanced with counter weights for proper vibration absorption
• Rubber bonding process follows OE recommended procedures
• Includes woodruff key where necessary (often damaged or lost during service)
• Three-piece construction with hub, rubber/fluid dampening layer, and grooved metal outer pulley

This harmonic balancer is constructed with a hub that bolts directly to the crankshaft, surrounded by a rubber or fluid layer that dampens vibrations, and an outer metal layer with grooves for belt engagement. The balancer restores normal engine operation and prevents belt misalignment and potential crankshaft failure caused by deteriorated dampening materials.
