ATP 102005 Engine Harmonic Balancer 3-Groove Serpentine for Jeep

The ATP 102005 is a standard replacement engine harmonic balancer designed to restore proper crankshaft function and eliminate the vibration, belt misalignment, and long-term engine damage caused by a worn or failed original unit. A harmonic balancer — also called a crankshaft damper or dampener — is a three-piece assembly: a central hub that bolts directly to the crankshaft, a rubber or fluid damping layer that absorbs torsional vibrations, and an outer metal pulley ring with belt grooves. Over time, the rubber or fluid layer deteriorates, allowing the outer pulley to shift forward. Left unaddressed, this misalignment causes premature belt wear and can ultimately lead to crankshaft failure. The ATP 102005 is engineered to fit and function just like the original part, returning the engine to normal operation.
