Four Seasons 83406 A/C Filter Drier Desiccant Bag Kit with Plug

The Four Seasons 83406 is a direct-fit A/C Filter Drier Desiccant Bag Kit with Plug, engineered as a quality replacement for the desiccant element inside your vehicle's accumulator or receiver-drier. Moisture is one of the biggest threats to an automotive air conditioning system, and this desiccant bag is designed to absorb it before it can combine with refrigerant and form corrosive acids that damage the evaporator, condenser, and compressor.

Key Features:

• Desiccant bag kit with plug — includes the desiccant bag and necessary sealing plug for a complete service
• Cloth construction — durable cloth material surrounds the desiccant beads for reliable, long-term moisture absorption
• Gasket/seal included — necessary sealing hardware is included for a leak-free installation
• 10.82-inch desiccant length — 68g desiccant fill weight with a 0.94-inch outside diameter for precise fitment
• Direct-fit design — engineered to replace the original desiccant element without modification
• ISO/TS 16949 & ISO 14001 certified manufacturing — produced in a certified facility using state-of-the-art equipment and high-quality materials

Important Service Note: The accumulator/filter drier desiccant bag must be replaced any time the A/C system is opened or serviced. A leaking or open system can saturate the desiccant bag within hours, rendering the accumulator or filter drier ineffective. Replacement of this component is also required to validate Four Seasons compressor warranty coverage.

Four Seasons is part of the SMP Temperature Control Division and is one of the industry's largest aftermarket mobile climate control suppliers, backed by over 50 years of A/C experience.
