gpd 1712778 HVAC Air Door Actuator

The gpd 1712778 is an HVAC air door actuator designed to restore proper climate control function to your vehicle. HVAC actuators are small electric motors that respond to your climate control inputs, precisely positioning the doors inside the HVAC case. The blend door actuator moderates air temperature by mixing heated and cooled air, the mode door actuator opens and closes the selected vents, and the recirculation actuator controls whether the system draws in fresh outside air or recirculates cabin air.

Key Features:

• Controls HVAC air flow temperature, vent distribution, and air recirculation
• Engineered to meet selected climate control settings accurately
• Direct-fit replacement for a straightforward installation

This gpd actuator is a reliable replacement for a worn or failed unit that may be causing incorrect temperature output, stuck vents, or inoperative recirculation. Fits select 2006–2019 Volkswagen and Audi models.
