gpd 1712064 HVAC Air Door Actuator

The gpd 1712064 is a replacement HVAC air door actuator designed to restore proper climate control function in your vehicle. HVAC actuators are small electric motors that move the doors inside your heater/AC box in response to the climate control panel. The blend door actuator moderates air temperature by mixing heated and cooled air, the mode door actuator opens and closes the selected vents (dash, floor, defrost), and the recirculation actuator controls whether the system draws in fresh outside air or recirculates cabin air.

Key Features:

• Controls HVAC air flow temperature, vent air distribution, and air recirculation
• Blend door function moderates air temperature between hot and cold
• Mode door function opens and closes selected vent outlets
• Recirculation door function manages fresh air intake versus cabin air recirculation

This gpd actuator is a direct replacement for worn or failed units, helping to eliminate common symptoms such as stuck temperature settings, vents that won't switch, or air that won't recirculate. Fits select 1991–2003 Chevrolet, GMC, and Ford models.
