gpd 1811786 Ignition Knock Detonation Sensor with Wiring Harness

The gpd 1811786 is a direct-fit ignition knock sensor, also known as a detonation sensor, designed to monitor unusual engine vibrations caused by pre-ignition or detonation. Mounted to the engine block, cylinder head, or intake manifold, the knock sensor sends a signal to the engine control module so ignition timing can be adjusted to prevent engine-damaging knock. Replacing a failed knock sensor restores proper timing control and helps protect long-term engine health.

Key Features:

• Includes wiring harness for a complete, ready-to-install assembly
• Mounting hardware included
• Single rectangular female connector with 4 blade terminals
• Wiring harness length: 16 mm

This knock sensor fits select 2002–2006 Dodge and Jeep models, as well as one Mitsubishi application. Installation is straightforward with the included mounting hardware and pre-attached wiring harness connector.
