Product Details

The GPD 1811788 is a direct-fit replacement ignition knock (detonation) sensor engineered to meet or exceed original equipment fit, form, and function. Manufactured by Global Parts Distributors (GPD), this sensor is 100% tested for durability and performance right out of the box.

The knock sensor is mounted on the engine block, cylinder head, or intake manifold, where it monitors unusual vibrations caused by engine pre-ignition or detonation. When knock is detected, the sensor signals the ECM to adjust ignition timing, protecting the engine from damage and maintaining optimal performance.

Key Features:

  • Direct-fit OE replacement — no modifications required
  • Designed to meet or exceed OE specifications for fit, form, and function
  • 100% tested for durability and reliable performance
  • Includes wiring harness (4.25 mm harness length)
  • Single connector design
  • Backed by GPD's one-year manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship

OEM & Cross-Reference Part Numbers:

  • Santech: KS0050
  • Omega Environmental Technologies: KS0050
  • Standard Motor Products: KS214
  • Wells: SU6861
  • Ranshu: 43KS0050 / 43-KS0050
