GPD 1811811 Ignition Knock Detonation Sensor Direct Fit Replacement

The GPD 1811811 is a direct-fit aftermarket ignition knock (detonation) sensor engineered to meet or exceed original equipment fit, form, and function. Knock sensors are a critical engine management component mounted on the engine block, cylinder head, or intake manifold, where they continuously monitor for abnormal vibrations caused by engine pre-ignition or detonation—commonly known as engine ping or knock.

When the sensor detects irregular combustion events, it sends a signal to the engine control module (ECM), which adjusts ignition timing to protect the engine from damage and maintain optimal performance and fuel efficiency. A failed or faulty knock sensor can trigger a check engine light, reduce power output, and cause long-term engine wear.

Key Features:

• Direct-fit replacement — bolt-in installation with no modifications required
• Meets or exceeds OE specifications — engineered to match factory fit, form, and function
• 100% tested for durability and performance before leaving the factory
• Premium materials construction for long service life
• 1-year manufacturer warranty against defects in material and workmanship

The GPD 1811811 knock sensor is backed by Global Parts Distributors' commitment to quality aftermarket automotive components, making it a reliable, cost-effective alternative to dealership parts.
