US Motor Works 22042 Professional Series Heavy Duty Fan Clutch

The US Motor Works 22042 is a Professional Series heavy-duty fan clutch engineered to deliver optimal cooling performance and durability. This thermal fan clutch uses viscous fluid technology to automatically regulate cooling fan engagement based on engine temperature, reducing unnecessary engine load while ensuring efficient heat dissipation when needed.

Professional Series Quality Features:

• CNC machined mounting surfaces for precise OE-specification fit and alignment
• All-aluminum body construction for superior heat dissipation and durability
• High-load bearings with high-temperature molybdenum grease for extended service life
• Improved shaft design with enhanced strength and load capacity over OE specifications
• Smooth shaft surfaces with reduced stress risers and anti-rotation stacking
• Designed and tested to meet or exceed original equipment specifications

US Motor Works is an ISO 9001:2015 certified manufacturer with over 50 years of combined experience in automotive cooling systems. Each Professional Series fan clutch undergoes rigorous testing in fan clutch simulators under varying temperatures, RPMs, and load conditions to ensure reliable performance. The viscous fluid inside the clutch thickens at higher temperatures to engage the fan for increased cooling, then thins at lower temperatures to disengage and improve fuel efficiency.
