OEM 126-410-04-15 Driveshaft Flex Disc Kit for Mercedes-Benz

The OEM 126-410-04-15 Flex Disc Kit is a critical driveline component designed to connect the driveshaft to the differential in Mercedes-Benz vehicles. This flexible coupling, also known as a flex disc or Giubo, serves as a vital link in the drivetrain system, replacing the function of traditional universal joints in many rear-wheel drive Mercedes models.

Key Features:

• Absorbs excessive torsional loads during acceleration and deceleration
• Isolates the driveshaft from transmission vibrations for smoother operation
• Allows for slight angular misalignment between drivetrain components
• Constructed with flexible rubber and embedded metal sleeves for durability
• Complete kit typically includes mounting hardware

This flex disc is manufactured to OEM specifications and fits various Mercedes-Benz models including W107, W116, W124, and W126 chassis equipped with V8 and turbo diesel engines from approximately 1971 to 2000. Common symptoms of a worn flex disc include drivetrain vibrations, clunking noises during acceleration or deceleration, and unusual knocking sounds from underneath the vehicle. Regular inspection is recommended, as a failing flex disc can lead to damage to the transmission, driveshaft, and differential if left unaddressed.
