Universal Air Conditioner EX10489C A/C Compressor Control Valve

The Universal Air Conditioner EX10489C is a replacement A/C compressor control valve designed to restore proper climate control function in variable displacement air conditioning systems. This control valve regulates refrigerant flow by controlling the compressor's internal pressure, ensuring optimal cooling performance under varying driving conditions.

Key Features:

• Direct replacement for original equipment control valve
• Regulates compressor displacement from 0% to 100% for efficient operation
• Controls swashplate angle to vary refrigerant compression based on cooling demand
• Helps maintain evaporator temperature while reducing engine strain and fuel consumption
• Electronically controlled valve with solenoid operation
• Cost-effective alternative to full compressor replacement

Cross-Reference Part Numbers:

• Santech: E257065, MT3402
• Omega: MT3402
• Sunair: EV053
• Ranshu: 43MT3402

This control valve is typically mounted on the rear or front of the A/C compressor and works with the engine control unit (ECU) to provide linear control of compressor output. When the control valve malfunctions, symptoms may include inconsistent cooling, delayed cooling response, or sluggish A/C performance. Replacing the control valve is often more economical than replacing the entire compressor assembly, and requires proper evacuation and recharging of the refrigerant system during installation.
