Dorman 904-6002 Nitrogen Oxide NOx Sensor Diesel Particulate Filter Outlet

The Dorman 904-6002 Nitrogen Oxide (NOx) Sensor is designed to monitor exhaust emissions at the outlet of the diesel particulate filter (DPF). This sensor plays a critical role in diesel emission control systems by measuring nitrogen oxide levels, allowing the engine control module to optimize selective catalytic reduction (SCR) performance and ensure compliance with emissions standards.

Key Features:

• Direct-fit replacement for worn or failed NOx sensors on diesel-equipped vehicles
• Monitors nitrogen oxide levels downstream of the diesel particulate filter
• Helps maintain proper SCR system operation and emission control efficiency
• Designed to meet or exceed OE performance specifications
• Rigorous quality testing ensures reliable operation and durability

This NOx sensor is essential for maintaining optimal engine performance, fuel efficiency, and emissions compliance. A faulty NOx sensor can trigger check engine lights, reduce fuel economy, and cause the vehicle to enter limp mode. The Dorman 904-6002 provides a reliable, cost-effective solution for restoring proper emission system function.
