ACDelco 25927021 GM Original Equipment Electronic Brake Control Accelerometer and Yaw Sensor Assembly

The ACDelco 25927021 is a GM Original Equipment Electronic Brake Control Vehicle Longitudinal Accelerometer Sensor and Yaw Sensor Assembly designed to provide critical stability control data for your vehicle's electronic brake control system. This integrated sensor assembly measures both longitudinal acceleration and yaw rate (rotational movement around the vertical axis), enabling advanced safety systems like electronic stability control (ESC), traction control, and anti-lock braking systems to function properly.

Key Features:

• GM Original Equipment quality ensures direct fit and reliable performance
• Integrated dual-function design combines accelerometer and yaw sensor in one assembly
• Monitors vehicle longitudinal acceleration and yaw rate for stability control systems
• Critical component for electronic stability control (ESC) and traction control operation
• Engineered to meet or exceed OE specifications for accurate sensor readings
• Direct replacement for worn or failed original sensor assembly

This sensor assembly is mounted within the vehicle and continuously monitors motion dynamics, sending data to the electronic brake control module. When the system detects a difference between the driver's intended path and the vehicle's actual path, it can selectively apply brakes to individual wheels to help maintain vehicle stability. A malfunctioning sensor can trigger warning lights and disable critical safety features, making prompt replacement essential for safe vehicle operation.
