BMC 13-72-1-720-861 High-Flow Replacement Air Filter

The BMC FB117/01 is a high-performance replacement air filter designed to allow significantly higher air flow while fitting exactly the same as your stock air filter. This direct replacement filter installs in the vehicle's original airbox to replace the OEM air filter.

Advanced Filtration Technology:

• Constructed from multi-layered cotton gauze that is pre-oiled and can be cleaned and regenerated using the BMC regeneration kit
• Highly performing materials allow increased air flow combined with more efficient filtration, guaranteeing containment of all impurities from as small as 7 microns (compared to OEM's 10 microns)
• Multi-layered cotton gauze soaked with low viscosity oil covered with an epoxy coated alloy mesh to ensure protection from petrol fumes and oxidization due to air humidity

Superior Construction:

• Produced using a Full Moulding system that enables the characteristic red filter to be realized from a single mould with no welded joints thus avoiding easy breakage
• The rubber used in BMC air filtering systems has a long life, is very durable and has optimum adhesion characteristics to all shapes of airboxes
• Direct replacement with long service life

All BMC air filters are pre-oiled, and they can be washed and regenerated by using the appropriate BMC regeneration kit. Unlike conventional paper filters which must be replaced at maintenance, the BMC air filter is reusable and has a life equal to that of the vehicle itself. This filter replaces BMW OEM part numbers 13-72-1-720-861, 13-72-1-707-050, and 13-72-1-715-881.
