Product Details

The Monroe Magnum RV 555002 shock absorber is a gas-charged RV shock built for recreational vehicles and motorhomes. It combines a gas charge with fully displaced valving to reduce bounce and wander and improve ride and handling.

Key Features:

  • Nitrogen gas charge helps keep the tire in contact with the road by reducing aeration, on most applications
  • Multi-lip fluid seal gives smooth performance, long life and less friction
  • 10-stage valving, tuned to each vehicle, adjusts to road extremes (most applications)
  • All-weather fluid with special additives helps with extreme temperatures and reduces oil breakdown
  • PTFE-coated bearing reduces friction between the rod and rod guide
  • Hydraulic lock-out helps prevent over-extension of the suspension and protects the seal assembly
  • Shouldered bushing designs help prevent bushing walkout (most applications)
  • Body end and rod end mounting codes: L1; both measured at the center of the loop

A heavy-duty shock absorber, also known as an RV shock or motorhome shock, for a steadier, more controlled ride on the road.
