Product Details

The Monroe Magnum RV 555001 shock absorber is specifically engineered for recreational vehicle applications, delivering enhanced ride control and stability for motorhomes, travel trailers, and heavy-duty RVs. This premium shock absorber utilizes advanced gas-charged technology combined with full-displacement valving to provide superior performance under the demanding conditions of RV travel.

Key Features:

  • Gas-charged design for improved responsiveness and fade resistance
  • Full-displacement valving technology optimizes damping performance throughout the stroke
  • Heavy-duty construction built to handle increased weight and stress of RV applications
  • Engineered to reduce body roll and improve handling stability
  • All-weather fluid formulation maintains consistent performance in extreme temperatures
  • Backed by Monroe's reputation for quality and durability in the aftermarket suspension industry

The Magnum RV series is designed to restore your vehicle's original ride quality while providing the additional control needed for safe RV operation. The gas-charged design helps minimize aeration and foaming of the hydraulic fluid, ensuring consistent damping performance even during extended highway drives or on rough road surfaces.

So for all is great. The Monroe shocks were considerably less expensive than the original equipment from the trailer frame manufacturer. They appear much heavier duty than the original equipment but most after market parts do since I always try to upgrade from the cheapest possible parts the manufacturers use. They fit perfectly. We haven't traveled yet with the new shocks on the 5th wheel and probably won't until October. I will try to remember to reevaluate then.

A great place from which to order! I ordered a solar panel battery charger on Wednesday and it showed up on Friday. Can't get stuff any quicker than that!

So far so good...

Best prices anywhere!! They take care of their customers, too!

Excellent to deal with. Best price in the country and immediate handling. Received via ground across the country in 4 days. Thx!!!

Great website with very quick response time and fast shipping. Product arrived as described, however packing fell short of my expectations as manufacturer's box was taped up and components were jarred around during transit causing some pieces to be scratched. Overall, would certainly do business with the company again due to flawless customer service.
