Rein 11-61-7-544-806 Intake Manifold Adjusting Unit DISA Valve

The Rein 11-61-7-544-806 Intake Manifold Adjusting Unit, commonly known as a DISA valve (Differentiated Intake System Actuator), is a critical engine management component that controls airflow paths within the intake manifold. This unit dynamically adjusts between shorter and longer intake runner lengths based on engine RPM and load conditions, optimizing torque delivery and throttle response across the entire powerband.

Key Features:

• Direct replacement for BMW OEM part number 11617544806
• Controls intake manifold air path adjustment for optimal engine performance
• Restores low-RPM torque and eliminates throttle lag
• Eliminates common clicking sounds from engine bay caused by failed DISA valves
• Quality aftermarket alternative to OEM at competitive pricing
• Rein Automotive part number ELM0062

A failing DISA valve typically manifests as low-RPM sluggishness, reduced power output, and an audible clicking noise from the intake manifold area. This Rein replacement unit restores proper intake manifold function, improving engine performance and drivability. Supersedes previous BMW part number 11617502269.
