Hayden Automotive 696 Rapid-Cool Transmission Oil Cooler with Thermal Bypass

The Hayden Automotive 696 Rapid-Cool transmission oil cooler features a patented internal thermal bypass design that helps vehicles reach optimum operating temperature quickly. This premium plate and fin cooler is ideal for colder climates, routing transmission fluid through an internal bypass channel until the fluid reaches proper operating temperature, then directing it through the cooling core for maximum heat dissipation.

Key Features:

• Patented internal pressure bypass valve eliminates need for external thermostatic valves
• Plate and fin construction is 33% more efficient than comparable tube and fin designs
• Aluminum construction with 12 cooling rows for superior heat transfer
• 100% pressure tested to 150 PSI for quality assurance
• Dimensions: 11 inches wide x 6 inches high x 0.75 inches thick
• 3/8 inch hose barb inlet and outlet fittings
• Includes mounting bracket for easy installation

Reaching operating temperatures faster improves fuel economy and reduces friction on internal transmission components. The integrated bypass valve design simplifies installation by eliminating additional plumbing requirements. Suitable for light-duty applications and vehicles towing up to 2,500 lbs. Replaces OEM part numbers 15472, 243013, and LPD4541.
