Gates 24483 Premium Modular Upper Radiator Coolant Hose

The Gates 24483 Premium Modular Coolant Hose represents the advanced engineering found in today's modern cooling systems. Unlike traditional molded hoses, this modular hose assembly integrates multiple components directly into the hose structure, including quick connectors, branch fittings, and other OEM-exact components that match original equipment specifications.

Key Features:

• EPDM tube construction with synthetic fiber knit reinforcement and heat-, ozone-, and chemical coolant-resistant EPDM cover
• Engineered to resist electrochemical degradation (ECD)—the leading cause of coolant hose failure
• Specifically-engineered materials resist collapse under vacuum conditions
• Manufactured with OEM-exact hose components including quick connects and branch connectors
• Temperature range: -40°F to +257°F (-40°C to +125°C)
• Meets SAE 20R3 EC Class D1 specifications for hoses under 1 inch ID and SAE 20R4 EC Class D1 for 1 inch ID and over

Installation Note: Gates recommends replacing hose clamps each time a new coolant hose is installed for optimal sealing performance.

Important: Not for use in fuel or oil transfer applications. Designed specifically for engine coolant systems.
