Gates 24217 Premium Modular Upper Radiator Coolant Hose

The Gates 24217 Premium Modular Coolant Hose is an advanced upper radiator hose assembly engineered to exceed OEM specifications for modern cooling system applications. Unlike traditional molded hoses, this modular coolant hose features integrated components built directly into the hose assembly, providing a complete cooling system solution in a single part.

Key Features:

• Premium modular design with integrated OEM-exact components such as hose branches, quick connectors, and flow restrictors
• Engineered to resist electrochemical degradation (ECD), the leading cause of coolant hose failure
• Manufactured to OEM specifications for precision fitment and long-lasting performance
• Advanced EPDM rubber construction for superior heat and ozone resistance
• Pre-shaped to ensure perfectly sealed conditions and eliminate installation guesswork
• Specifically-engineered materials resist collapse under vacuum conditions
• Meets SAE 20R3 EC Class D1 and SAE 20R4 EC Class D1 specifications

Gates modular coolant hoses are designed for the complex cooling systems found in today's vehicles, where multiple components are integrated into a single hose assembly. This upper radiator hose provides reliable coolant flow and maintains proper operating temperatures for years of dependable service. Gates recommends replacing hose clamps each time a new coolant hose is installed for optimal sealing performance.

Note: Not for use with fuel or oil transfer applications. For engine coolant applications only.
