Product Details

The Auveco AP8359 is a short extruded U-nut designed for 1/4 inch - 20 TPI threaded fasteners with a durable phosphate finish. This style of U-nut features extruded metal construction that provides reliable thread engagement and secure panel mounting in automotive, truck, and industrial applications.

Key Features:

  • 1/4 inch - 20 threads per inch (TPI) thread size
  • Short extruded design for compact installation spaces
  • Phosphate coating provides corrosion resistance
  • Spring tension design grips panels securely
  • OE-style fit and function for reliable replacement
  • Ideal for body panels, brackets, and trim applications

U-nuts are commonly used in automotive assembly where they clip onto panel edges and provide threaded attachment points without requiring access to the back side of the panel. The phosphate finish offers enhanced rust protection compared to uncoated fasteners.
