With roots stretching back more than 120 years to the Electric Wheel Company in Quincy, Illinois, Titan Tire — the tire division of Titan International, Inc. — has grown into one of the most respected names in off-highway rubber. A Legacy Built on Off-Road Innovation

Titan Tire Corporation was formally established in 1993 when Titan Wheel acquired the Dyneer Corporation, a manufacturer of various off-road tires. Since then, the company has grown through strategic acquisitions — including the off-road tire assets of Pirelli Armstrong Tire Corporation in 1994 and Goodyear's farm tire business in 2005 — evolving into a leading global supplier of complete wheel and tire assemblies for off-highway vehicles.

One of Titan's most significant engineering achievements is its patented Low Sidewall (LSW®) technology. LSW assemblies feature a larger rim diameter and a shorter tire sidewall than conventional designs, while maintaining the same outside diameter, inflation pressures, and load capacity. The result is reduced road lope, less power hop, and lower soil compaction — all critical concerns for modern agricultural operators. Titan is the only company in its segment capable of designing, testing, and producing both the tires and the wheels for this system in-house.
