Gates 24177 Premium Molded Coolant Hose Lower Radiator Hose

The Gates 24177 Premium Molded Coolant Hose is a precision-engineered lower radiator hose designed to deliver OEM-quality performance and reliability. This factory-molded hose is manufactured to exact specifications for a precise fit and optimal coolant transfer between the engine and radiator, ensuring proper engine temperature regulation.

Key Features:

• Constructed from premium EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) rubber with reinforced synthetic fiber for superior durability
• Engineered to resist electrochemical degradation (ECD), the leading cause of coolant hose failure
• Heat and ozone resistant cover withstands extreme under-hood temperatures and environmental conditions
• Re-engineered materials resist vacuum collapse, often eliminating the need for internal support springs
• Meets or exceeds OEM specifications for quality and performance
• Designed for lower radiator, bypass, heater, and other coolant system applications

Gates molded coolant hoses are built to withstand the constant transfer of hot coolant and resist the corrosion that causes hoses to deteriorate from the inside out. With superior electrochemical resistance, the Gates 24177 provides longer service life and reliable performance to keep your cooling system operating at peak efficiency. Gates recommends replacing hose clamps each time a new coolant hose is installed for optimal seal and performance.
