Product Details

The Genuine VW/Audi 111-117-151 is an oil strainer cover plate designed for classic air-cooled Volkswagen Type 1 engines. This essential component serves as the cover for the oil pump suction tube and oil strainer assembly located in the engine crankcase.

Key Features:

  • Genuine OEM Volkswagen part ensuring exact fit and quality
  • Seals and secures the oil strainer pickup screen assembly
  • Prevents contaminants from entering the oil system
  • Direct replacement for worn or damaged original covers
  • Precision-manufactured to factory specifications

This cover plate works in conjunction with the oil pump pickup tube to maintain proper engine lubrication. Regular inspection during oil changes is recommended to ensure the strainer and cover are clean and properly sealed, which is critical for maintaining adequate oil pressure and protecting internal engine components from debris.
