Product Details

The Clevite CB1888P4 is a precision-engineered connecting rod bearing set designed specifically for Mercedes-Benz OM 904LA and OM 924LA diesel engines rated up to 170 horsepower. These engines are commonly found in Mercedes-Benz Atego medium-duty trucks and various commercial vehicles equipped with the 4.2-liter inline-four diesel powerplant.

Key Features:

  • Precision-manufactured bi-metal aluminum construction with 100% lead-free aluminum silicon alloy
  • Engineered with 60% more silicon than competitive replacements for superior journal surface conditioning
  • Enhanced seizure and wear resistance for extended service life
  • Meets OEM specifications for Mercedes-Benz OM 904LA/924LA applications
  • Complete connecting rod bearing set for professional engine rebuilds
  • Backed by Clevite's proven track record since 1948 in performance engine bearings

Clevite bearings feature hardened steel backing for structural support and a specialized bearing overlay that promotes proper break-in, embedability of contaminants, and low-friction operation. This bearing set is designed for commercial diesel applications where durability and reliability are critical for minimizing downtime and maintenance costs.

Autoplicity had the best price by far on the item I was looking for. I paid for 2nd day air shipping and my order total was still less expensive than ordering from any other merchant. My item arrived the day after I ordered it. I will definitely buy from them in the future.

Best price on the Web for Tein Street Flex suspension. Period.

Fast and easy.

The ordering process was very simple and the prices could not be beat. The processing time to ship the order was a little longer than usual, but for the price savings, it was well worth it!

It was easy to order and the truck bed extender we bought was the lowest price we could find! However, the shipping charge was higher than what was posted on the comparison sight. Nevertheless, it still came in under the next highest price from a different vendor.

easy order

Autoplicity beat everyone's price even with the shipping on an item that no one else had in stock, but still listed.

easy and simple.

quick, easy and great price

Great prices and super fast shipping. Good job.

The sales/service team were very helpful and they had the cheapest price for an air filter that I could find. I will definitely shop here again!
