Product Details

The Gates K060861A Micro-V Aramid Serpentine Belt is engineered with aramid tensile cord construction to provide extended belt life and eliminate noise and vibration on demanding accessory belt drive systems. This OE-matching construction ensures quiet, smooth operation with the same performance and durability as the original equipment part.

Premium Aramid Construction:

 • Aramid fiber tensile cords—the same material found in bullet-proof vests—provide superior strength and durability
 • Superior to standard polyester tensile cords found in most serpentine belts
 • Special belt construction eliminates belt noise, reduces tension loss, and solves problem drive applications
 • Crack and heat-resistant EPDM rubber compound for extended service life

Technical Specifications:

 • Effective Length: 86.63 inches (2200mm)
 • 6-rib configuration
 • Top Width: 0.807 inches (20mm)
 • Metric Designation: 6PK2184

Key Features:

 • Essential for demanding accessory belt drives including turbo, diesel, and high RPM applications
 • Meets or exceeds all Original Equipment Manufacturer specifications
 • Flexible construction withstands billions of topside and backside bends in ABDS applications
 • Designed for small diameter pulleys, backside idlers, and use with or without automatic tensioners

This aramid cord belt extends the life of both the belt and other accessory drive components on applications specifically requiring aramid construction, while reducing noise, vibration, and harshness.

I was a bit concerned buying from a online retailer I had not done business with before, but Autoplicity is now on my list of preferred vendors. I was sure there would be some problem, as the part I ordered was $73 cheaper than anywhere else online (too good to be true). Well, the part arrived super fast, and was exactly as I ordered. I did not hear from them immediately after ordering, but received confirmation and tracking info when the item shipped, which was two days after ordering. All in all, a great, money saving experience.

Update:
While I am still pleased with the service I received, I find it odd that Autoplicity emailed me and offered me a refund of $5 for writing a review. It has been a couple of weeks since I posted my review, and I have yet to see any credits on my credit card.
