Product Details

The IAP 113611023BEC is a replacement brake wheel cylinder designed for air-cooled Volkswagen Type 1 (Beetle) drum brake systems. IAP Performance is a trusted supplier of air-cooled VW components, and this wheel cylinder is engineered to restore proper hydraulic function to the rear drum brake assembly.

Wheel cylinders are a critical component of the drum brake hydraulic system. When the brake pedal is depressed, hydraulic pressure from the master cylinder actuates the wheel cylinder pistons, which in turn force the brake shoes outward against the drum to create stopping friction. A leaking or seized wheel cylinder compromises braking performance and should be replaced promptly.

Key Features:

  • Direct-fit replacement for OEM wheel cylinder
  • Restores proper hydraulic actuation of rear drum brake shoes
  • Manufactured to OEM specifications for reliable fit and function
  • Part of IAP Performance's comprehensive air-cooled VW brake parts lineup
  • Compatible with standard drum brake hardware and brake shoes

OEM Reference: 113611023B. This replacement wheel cylinder is an essential part of a complete drum brake service and pairs with brake shoes, hardware kits, and brake drums available separately from IAP Performance.
