I called at least three times and selected Option 1 for placing an order. All three times resulted in either getting disconnected or a phone line connection with terrible feedback noise. Since there was no feedback when the call was first answered by the phone tree, it was clearly not on my end, but at the point of the person answering the phone. Once I finally got somebody to pick up on the 4th or 5th call, I did get my question answered about the correct part number that was needed but when I asked to go ahead and place the order, he said I had to be transferred to a sales person. Really? What was the point of choosing Option 1 - to place an order? Anyway, he transferred me to a line where nobody picked up. A message said that person (an employee or extension number, not a name) was not available and that I should leave a message. This order is for a warranty claim for Bilstein shocks that failed after 30k miles. I'm having to pay for them up front and hope that, once returned at my expense, Bilstein decides to honor their lifetime warranty and reimburse me. You would think that the CSR in the warranty dept could take care of this to make it easier. This does not bode well for future purchases of Bilstein shocks from any supplier, nor for any part from Autoplicity. It seems like this would be easier and less expensive to buy from the service center, thus leaving Autoplicity and Bilstein out of the sale.
