Product Details

The Cometic C5497-030 is a high-performance Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket engineered specifically for Chrysler 420A and ECC engines. This precision gasket features an 87.5mm bore diameter and a .030" (0.76mm) compressed thickness, making it ideal for performance builds and applications requiring superior sealing capabilities.

Key Features:

  • Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) construction provides exceptional strength and durability
  • 87.5mm bore diameter designed for Chrysler 420A/ECC engine platforms
  • .030" compressed thickness for performance applications
  • Advanced embossment technology ensures uniform load distribution
  • Superior resistance to blow-out and combustion gas leakage
  • Accommodates thermal expansion and cylinder head movement
  • Ideal for turbocharged, supercharged, and high-compression builds

Cometic MLS gaskets are manufactured using multiple layers of stainless steel with advanced coatings to ensure maximum sealing performance under extreme conditions. The unique construction allows the gasket to conform to imperfect sealing surfaces while maintaining excellent recovery properties. This gasket is a direct fit for Chrysler 420A and ECC (Eclipse/Chrysler/Conquest) 2.0L 4-cylinder engines commonly found in 1995-1999 Dodge/Plymouth Neon, Eagle Talon, and Plymouth Laser applications.

Autoplicity leads the way ! Others take a lesson !! Great prices and excellent service !!!

Autoplicity had the best price for my Thule 867 roof rack cargo bag. It was easy to pay thru my Amazon accont and the order shipped within 24 hours of my placing the order.

I only gave them a 3 star raring on their shipping because I went on their site on Tuesday and the order said it had not been shipped. On Wednesday I received my shipment. The left hand needs to figure out what the right hand is doing. Other than that, GREAT

Fast shipping and good prices. I would shop this site again.
