Walker Products 245-2189 Mass Air Flow Sensor MAF Sensor

The Walker Products 245-2189 Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor is a replacement airflow sensor. It measures the amount of air entering the engine and sends that data to the vehicle's onboard computer (ECU/PCM). The computer uses this reading, along with other sensor inputs, to calculate the correct amount of fuel to deliver for smooth running, fuel economy and emissions control.

Key Features:

• Flange mount design
• Brand-new construction, not remanufactured
• Circuit boards are custom-programmed to match the OE signal curve for the application
• Every sensor is tested for form, fit and function before it is sold
• Multi-point airflow tested on sonic nozzle testing equipment
• Built to meet or exceed OE standards for accuracy, reliability and performance
• Designed to resist heat, vibration and air contamination

Signs of a Failing MAF Sensor:

• Poor fuel economy
• Hard starting or no-start conditions
• Rough idle, surging or stalling
• Check engine light with MAF-related codes such as P0101, P0102 or P0103
• Higher emissions

MAF sensors are non-serviceable, so replace a sensor that is no longer working. Handle the new sensor with care. Oils from your hands can damage the sensing element. Walker Products has supplied fuel system and engine management components since 1946 and is an ISO 9001/IATF 16949 certified manufacturer.
