Spectra 4401-1734 Premium Turbocharger Intercooler Charge Air Cooler

The Spectra Premium 4401-1734 Turbocharger Intercooler is a direct-fit, OE-replacement charge air cooler designed to cool compressed air after it exits the turbocharger and before it enters the engine's intake manifold. By reducing intake air temperature, the intercooler increases air density, allowing the engine to combust a greater volume of fuel and air for improved power output and efficiency.

Key Features:

• OE-matched cooling efficiency — engineered and validated by Spectra Premium's in-house team of Canadian engineers to meet or exceed original equipment specifications
• Minimized pressure drop — core design optimized to reduce airflow restriction while maximizing heat dissipation for peak engine operating efficiency
• Direct-fit replacement — OE design ensures exact fit, form, and function for a straightforward installation with no modifications required
• Durable construction — built to withstand the thermal and pressure cycles of turbocharged applications
• Restores performance — replaces failed or degraded intercoolers that cause power loss, increased intake temps, or boost leaks

The Spectra Premium 4401-1734 intercooler is also commonly referred to as a charge air cooler (CAC) or turbo intercooler. It is the ideal solution for restoring factory turbo performance and protecting your engine from heat-related stress in turbocharged applications.
