Prothane 7-527-BL Black Polyurethane Engine Motor Mount Kit 2014-2015 Chevy SS Sedan

The Prothane 7-527-BL is a black polyurethane engine motor mount kit engineered specifically for the 2014–2015 Chevrolet SS Sedan. Designed as a direct replacement and performance upgrade over factory rubber mounts, this kit reduces excessive engine movement to deliver sharper throttle response, improved hard-launch traction, and more precise shifting feel.

Key Features:

• High-performance polyurethane construction — more durable than OEM rubber, engineered to withstand heat, pressure, and heavy use
• Limits engine movement — reduces powertrain torque flex for improved traction and more consistent power transfer to the drivetrain
• Application-specific engineering — designed precisely for the 2014–2015 Chevy SS Sedan, not a universal fit
• Black finish — clean, OEM-compatible appearance under the hood
• Sold as a kit — includes all components needed for installation
• Lifetime warranty — backed by Prothane's standard lifetime warranty
• Made in the USA

Prothane motor mounts are a proven upgrade for performance-minded drivers seeking to tighten up drivetrain response. Note that polyurethane mounts may transmit slightly more NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness) to the cabin compared to stock rubber mounts — a common trade-off for the performance gains delivered.
