Product Details

The Dorman 54223 Engine Coolant Recovery Tank Cap is a direct replacement cap designed to seal your vehicle's coolant recovery tank and maintain proper cooling system pressure. This cap features a pressure relief valve that opens at the specified PSI to prevent over-pressurization while keeping the cooling system sealed during normal operation.

Key Features:

  • Direct replacement for worn or damaged coolant reservoir caps
  • Maintains proper cooling system pressure for optimal engine performance
  • Pressure relief valve prevents over-pressurization and coolant loss
  • Durable construction resists heat and coolant exposure
  • Easy installation with no special tools required

A faulty coolant recovery tank cap can lead to coolant loss, overheating, and reduced cooling efficiency. Replacing a worn cap helps maintain the integrity of your cooling system and prevents potential engine damage from overheating.

Fast and precise.

The part got here a day after I ordered it. It came in great condition & was pretty easy to install. Would 100% shop from autoplicity again!

Excellent

Good purchase procedure. Appreciate the shipping estimate tool. thanks

Stuff came fast.

Great service

When ordering the product, it would be nice to be given an expected date of arrival. I received an email stating that they were using 3rd party to send out my product so they wouldn't have any information until after the 3rd party had processed my order.

Easy ordering

Great

Your website is very nice, straight forward and the checkout process was easy. Thanks!

Great price!

Very easy

Great sight and easy to navigate.

Best price for the particular part I was ordering. Their staff/customer service is very helpful and polite, but unfortunately their shipping times are lacking. Before ordering on Monday, I called to verify the item was in stock, and asked what shipping method I would need to ensure it would arrive before Saturday. I was told 2nd Day Air. I ordered that same day (around 1pm). The package wasn't shipped until Wednesday evening, AFTER I called and inquired a to why it hasn't moved. What really upset me though was that the package ended up being shipped UPS Ground anyways, to arrive here the very next day. Long story short, I shouldn't have had to pay the extra $20+.

Great prices, great communication, fast shipping.

They did not have the part I ordered, but they quickly provided me with a nearly equivilent part! The shipping was fast and it was packed perfectly. I like them peoples!!!
