Product Details

The Duraflex 103021 Cowl Style Hood is a one-piece fiberglass replacement hood that delivers an aggressive, custom look for your truck or SUV. Manufactured using Duraflex's proprietary FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastics) technology, this cowl hood blends fiberglass, plastic, and flex resins to produce a product that is significantly more durable than traditional fiberglass while remaining lightweight.

The raised cowl design adds a bold, performance-inspired profile while improving airflow to the engine bay. Arrives in an unfinished black primer and is ready for prep, bodywork, and paint to match your vehicle's finish.

Key Features:

  • Material: FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastics) — hand-laid, high-quality 6 oz. fiberglass construction
  • Style: Cowl induction design for an aggressive, performance-inspired appearance
  • Finish: Arrives in black primer — requires prep, body filler work, and paint before installation
  • Quantity: 1-piece hood assembly
  • Up to 75% reduced shipping damage rate compared to standard fiberglass products
  • Lightweight construction for improved handling characteristics
  • Designed as a direct OEM-style replacement hood

Installation Notes: Hood pins are required with this hood. Professional installation by a licensed automotive body shop is strongly recommended. As with all fiberglass parts, dry fitting, drilling mounting holes, and performing bodywork prior to paint are necessary steps. Minor variations between parts may occur due to hand-laid manufacturing.

had a glitch on the site but overall pretty satisfied
